Quick Font Size Change in Windows XP

Do you have to squint to see you Email or read Word or Excel documents. This quick fix will increase the font size by 25%.

  1. Right Click on the desktop and the following pop up will be displayed.

  1. Click on “Properties”. The Display Properties pop up will be displayed.
  2. Click on the “Settings” tab, then on the “Advanced” button.

  1. A Graphics Monitor pop up will be displayed similar to the following.
  2. Click on the “DPI setting:” drop down menu and then select “Large size [120 DPI]

  1. Click on the “Apply” then “OK“ button. If you get the “General “pop up click “Yes”

  1. Close any open pop ups and Restart the computer.

You should now have a larger font size which will be easier to read.
