WEED-FREE LAWNS
We all love a beautiful weed-free lawn. But it takes work and the right types of fertilizer at the right time of the year to have this beautiful lawn. We suggest that you use the Scotts Turf Builder fertilizer for your yard:

Scott’s has a four stage program to keep your grass in tip top shape all year long. Now is the time to use the Stage 4 type. The fertilizer is designed to promote root growth during the winter months. This is a slow release fertilizer, so an application now will last through the winter and ready for the early spring application. Home Depot, Lowes, and most garden nurseries carry the Turf Builder. The cost is less than $10 per bag which covers 5,000 square feet. One bag will cover most of the Sea Pointe yards.
There are many plants, trees, shrubs and flowers in our yards. From time to time we need help when things are not growing or when they are attacked by insects and diseases. We recommend a wonderful reference to help you through these times. It is the California Master Gardener Handbook. It is published by the University of California.
