Have you ever had a plant that you loved? You cared for. You feed regularly. You watered regularly. And it still was on the verge of dying? With all that tender loving care it still had difficulty surviving. Welcome to the club. Do not despair. The answer may be very simple.
There is a strong possibility that the plant does not like its location. The answer is to simply move the plant to another part of the house or to another side of the house.
If the plant is in a shaded spot, then move it to a location that provides more sunshine. Conversely, if the plant is in the sun, then move it to a shady spot.
One of the things that you should know about your house is how it is positioned relative to the north/south line. You can get this information by going to the map link of our community on this website. This map gives you the north direction. Simply use a ruler to draw lines to your lot and determine how it lies with regard to the north line.
Keep in mind that plants on the south side of the house will get more sun each day and plants on the north side will get the least. The east side will get the morning sun and the west the afternoon soon. The east side will be a little cooler than the west under normal conditions.
Technically speaking your home contains many microclimates. You need to know which climate around your house and in your house is the best for your plants.
