Osmocote™

All of us want our plants and flowers to grow and be beautiful and lovely. However, there is a certain amount of maintenance required. The plants need to be watered and fertilized on a regular basis.

This tip will help you on the fertilizer part of your maintenance program. We strongly recommend Osmocote™ brand fertilizer. Osmocote™ is a slow release type fertilizer with an even distribution of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. In the case of the bag shown in the Photo it is 14% for each of the ingredients. One application will last up to four months.

Not all garden stores care this brand. Our local Lowe™’s store and OSH Hardware™ are two that do carry it.
