The gardening tip of the month has been suggested by Ross and Terri Whitt, 2 Via Olas.
Saddleback College in Mission Viejo will have its spring plant sale on April 19-20. 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This is sponsored by the Horticulture and Landscape Design Department. The proceeds of the event will go to scholarships for students of the Department. Last year they raised $7,000.
In addition to contributing to a worthy cause, you will get some fantastic buys on hanging baskets, perennials, annuals and much, much more.

Directions: Off I5, take Avery, turn left on Marguerite, go ½ mile and turn right in to the College, go one block turn left on Campus Drive East. Park in lot 14 which is the first parking lot on the left. This is the location of the greenhouse.

We attended the fall plant sale. It was a great success. Came back home with a car full of plants.
